Astrology Mythology: Stories Behind the Twelve Signs of the Zodiac
With Eliot Marzano
March 20 - 23, 2025
Stories passed down through generations offer timeless wisdom, profound warnings, and endless wonder. Ancient Greek Mythology delves into the complexities of the human condition, capturing the grandeur, beauty, and terror of our experiences. In this retreat, we will explore these myths to illuminate the archetypes and experiences associated with the 12 Zodiac signs. Each Zodiac sign exists within us, interacting within our psyche, our relationships, and our world.
This retreat is designed for those interested in symbolism, the human psyche, or astrology, as well as anyone seeking to deepen their understanding of self and relationships. This retreat will enrich your professional practice and personal life with a deeper understanding of these archetypal characters. You might be surprised to learn about the destructive Typhon within the gentle Pisces, the amicable and just Hunter spirit of Scorpio, or the unspoken pain within the nurturing Taurus.
In this age we strive to balance masculine and feminine energies; we’ll discover that the Sun Sign doesn’t define our astrological identity. Situational contexts often draw out different signs within us—like how a Libran’s indecisiveness might evoke an Aries’ decisiveness in others. We can all be indecisive; albeit Libras more often than Aries. Explore how these stories and archetypes will enhance your astrological comprehension and elevate your self-awareness for personal growth and for pattern recognition in relationships.
Eliot will offer an introduction to Natal Wheel observation imperative for understanding where these signs exist in your life. Join him for an enriching weekend of storytelling and exploration into Greek mythology. This retreat aims to inspire you to reflect on your personal experiences through the lens of these ancient tales. Alongside our mythological journey, we’ll offer restorative practices to enhance self-awareness and some introductory astrological education. Don’t forget to enjoy Menla’s spa, explore the trails, and take time to connect deeply with the Zodiac signs, especially those you might not have considered before.
