How are you meeting this moment?

This particular moment in time is calling forth from us the ability to feel on behalf of everyone—and to respond on behalf of everyone. But where do we even begin?

These days there’s no shortage of confusion, shame and suffering—even if you’re not feeling it personally, it’s evident all around us. There is also an abundance of distractions and pressures going against our natural ability to feel and act from the fact that we’re all connected at the root. So with all of these conditions stacking up, how can we as practitioners show up with clarity, courage and compassion, stepping into a new way of being that’s more in alignment with our true selves? How can we bridge from inner work to outward action?

Join us online for a day-long exploration with Professor Robert Thurman and Lama Tsomo, who will share simple practical advice on meeting the challenges of this moment and a practice to cultivate compassion for ourselves and others. Through lively conversation, stories, laughter, guided mediation, and small group work, we will explore how these qualities of heart and mind can support us in our efforts to wage peace.

This event is suitable for new and experienced practitioners. All are welcome.
