This retreat utilizes a powerful healing medicine, ketamine, in supervised, guided sessions to help couples reduce defensiveness, open their heart space to each other, and tap into the transformative power of pleasure and connectedness.
5 reasons to attend:
- You are in a committed relationship and feel stuck
- You experience the desire to recover sexual pleasure and intimacy
- You and your partner want guidance and inspiration with your relationship vision
- You both would benefit from a relaxed, safe and beautiful place with acres of trails and a world class spa
- You want to reach a higher level of connection and commitment.
Why ketamine assisted couples’ therapy?
The purpose of using sublingual ketamine lozenges is to facilitate an environment to go deeper in the relational work. Our experience has been that ketamine can provide a more optimal psycho-spiritual-mental space to work within for individuals and couples. Low dose ketamine combined with state of the art couples psychotherapy has the potential to facilitate more rapid movement for couples who have felt ‘stuck’ in their work together. Some experts have described Ketamine as a ‘lubricant’ for process work as defenses and anxiety can be reduced; resulting in a stronger relationship.
About the retreat
The stunning setting for our retreat is Menla in the beautiful Catskill Mountains. We have deluxe rooms with private baths and cozy, comfortable bedding. The food is vegetarian and made with love. We are a professional staff of medical doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists and licensed mental health practitioners. Collectively we have many years of experience with KAP (ketamine assisted psychotherapy) and we hold the space for you with integrity and great care.
This retreat uses ketamine as a portal to enter into the depths of our being to allow for a safe and loving exploration of the sexuality and intimacy needs and experiences in your relationship and with your partner. Sexual energy is the basic energy of the being; when it is impeded we are unable to reach our full potential. When sexual energy flows, life flows, affecting not only our sexuality but our all over health and happiness.
There will be three optional dosings during the weekend. Couples who choose to abstain from ketamine will find the structure, processes and content of the retreat helpful and effective, safe, beautiful and JOYFUL. Ketamine is not the healing by itself. With guidance and care participants can experience their innate intelligence and joyful capacities we all have as humans. This is where the healing happens. The medicine points to the trail that leads you back to where you lost deep connection, romance and sexual pleasure.
Mindfulness, Noble Communication and Noble Listening are the core practices taught and practiced throughout this retreat. We all have the possibility of becoming more present, more embodied and more honest with ourselves. We begin to realize that it is in fact, us who are creating the discord in our relationships and our life in general. This retreat is an invitation to become the author of your intimacy and sexuality narrative and experiences in your committed relationship.
