March 15 – 17, 2019

Menla invites healthcare professionals to join us for a weekend think-tank to develop our mindfulness program within specific healthcare settings.  This cutting-edge mindfulness program is focused on improving patient outcomes utilizing an approach that considers the whole body, including mindfulness techniques, proprietary measurement of progress, healthy diet, sound sleep, and immersion in nature. Still in the research and development phase, we are currently looking for partners like you to improve our medical mindfulness offerings. In this light, we are offering this one-time weekend retreat at a highly discounted rate that simply covers our costs.

We will demonstrate the tremendous potential for tailoring mindfulness practices towards the needs of those with specific diagnoses, such as Parkinson’s, cancer, or diabetes.  It will also briefly take you through the envisioned program which currently includes a high degree of customization for patients, including culinary expertise with wholefood artisanal touch specific to their general condition, individual sleep consultation with natural teas at night, immersion in natural surroundings to lower stress, mindfulness practices for better living, and behavioral treatment planning that allows these teachings to extend into your own specialized field. There will also be time for nature hiking and world-class healing spa treatments.

This retreat has a heavy focus on open discussion and encourages dialogue to improve the program, including consideration of ways to seek coverage by insurance companies for mindfulness-based medical care.
