Letting in the Good
With Mary Stancavage
September 1 - 2, 2020
In the Buddha’s teaching on Wise Effort, he invites us to pay attention to whether our thinking is beneficial or not. Drawing from Rick Hansen’s teachings in Buddha’s Brain, Mary discusses how to see when we’re caught up in negative bias and how a few simple practices will move our mind towards a more open and spacious relationship both with ourselves and with the world around us. This enables us to move towards a place of equanimity and develop an ability to hold everything that shows up in our lives with balance.
There will be a period of guided meditation, a talk and Q&A. This evening is suitable for everyone.
