Pause + Press Play A Rejuvenation Retreat for Women of Color
With Marla Teyolia and Crystal McCreary
March 31 - April 2, 2017
Taking time to replenish your body, mind, & spirit is a truly radical form of activism. It is the key to sustaining a vital life and forms the foundation for vibrant families and functional communities.
For many women of color, the practice of self-care is perceived as a luxury. Our lives are full and our stressors are innumerable. We’ve created Pause + Press Play to address the need that so many of us are experiencing at this moment in time: increased stress, concern, and fear for the safety of our world and those we love.
It seems as if every day we are bombarded with words and actions that dehumanize our very existence as women, as immigrants, as people who stand for equality and love.
We invite you to join Marla Teyolia and Crystal McCreary for a weekend getaway curated to rejuvenate body, mind, and soul. Together we will engage in practices that bring us ease and decrease stress through the art of yoga, mindfulness, dance, and play.
If you crave and thrive in the safety of sisterhood, want to learn techniques you can practice at home to decrease stress, desire a respite from the toxicity of the current social and cultural climate, or hope to clarify life goals and dreams, this retreat is for you.
