Psychedelic & Indigenous Medicine Retreat: Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy with Floresta
With Shannon Starr, BC-PMHNP, Eugene Shteyngarts, TCM and Paul Garcia, MD, PhD
August 20 - 22, 2021
This is a three-day Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy retreat designed to optimize your experience and treatment and allow for lasting transformation. At Menla, we will be surrounded by the nature of the Catskill Mountains which will support a sense of nurturing and wellbeing as we explore non-ordinary states of consciousness and integration.
Floresta is a team of clinicians, doctors, coaches, pioneers and those that dare to be the change that is required within mental health and psychiatry. Have you been in therapy for years, tried countless medications or know that there is something more than what is currently being offered within mental health? We are here to facilitate an increase in awareness and consciousness as we blend Western medical and psychotherapeutic methods with diverse Eastern and Indigenous practices. Working with the medicine of ketamine can allow for clarity, healing, insight and creating with choice. We are here to let you know there is another way.
Ketamine is a safe, well known medication that is currently being prescribed off-label for depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, OCD, addiction and other mental health concerns. It assists in rewiring the neural network within the brain for a mental reset, which allows you to create your life through endless possibilities, magic and revolutionary breakthroughs. Up to 95% of people receiving ketamine treatments report a decrease in depression and anxiety compared to conventional psychiatry with results often seen after the first treatment.
