Join us for a powerful Journey: 6 days of deep, transformational practice in the beautiful Menla Mountain Retreat.

The 21 Stages of Meditation clarifies the process and outlines the steps of your progress in meditation, and your profound understanding of your Self. Each part of this meditative journey takes you into a deeper level of awakening and realization.

In this course we engage in a 3-part meditative journey through The Crystallized Self, where we recognize and experience our true Self; The Expressive Self, in which we learn how to express our true Self in both action and stillness; and lastly, The Transcendent Self, where we experience our Self as a fully realized human being. We will move through the basic skills of meditation to the deeper levels of awareness and integration and finally into identity and merger with the Naam.

This work is key to deepening your understanding and experience of the stages of meditation – from Irritation and Boredom, to Humility, to Graceful Enlightenment and the Sage. Our journey culminates in the Infinite Pulse, the great immersion of self in Self.

Students and teachers from all contemplative traditions are invited to participate. All are welcome.

This course will:

  • Introduce the nature of meditation.
  • Provide an overview of the stages of meditation.
  • Provide specific tools that access different parts of your mind and heart.
  • Give the experience of personal insight and realization.
  • Help you be who you are, and act authentically, naturally and meaningfully. We will meet the challenge of our own emotions, beliefs and habits.
