In this special Rejuvenation and Healing Yoga retreat, James Bae will continue to guide Sowa Rigpa Rejuvenation practices along with an introduction to healing meditations from the Yuthok medical tradition and other essential self-healing practices.

In times of stress, emotional upheaval, loss and trauma, our vital energy (loong), essence (dang) and ‘soul’ energy (bla) get weakened. We will explore the main self-healing methods in the Buddhist and Tibetan medical tradition to increase the life energy in order to create positive circumstances for our health to flourish. These traditional practices will be made accessible and simplified for home practice.

In addition to a review of seasonal dietary, lifestyle and herbal regimens, we will explore rare healing yoga practices, including meditations for ‘soul retrieval’ or ‘hooking back our bla’ – the essence of vitality.

Other meditation practices include traditional meditations for restoring the life force, based on the Medicine Buddha, White Tara and Amitayus.

Dr. James will provide an overview of healing meditations and ceremonies that assist the art of rejuvenation (chulen).

Participants will have time to receive Sowa Rigpa treatments according to their constitution and the season at Dewa Spa.
