The distinctive Tibetan practice of yoga known as Tsalung Trulkhor combines breathwork, meditation, and physical movements. In this four day retreat, we will focus on the Tsalung movements from the Bön Magyu (Mother Tantra) and the Trulkhor movements from the Zhang Zhung Nyen Gyu (Oral Transmission of Zhang Zhung), as were used in clinical research studies at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, in Houston.

This retreat is open to everyone, including those touched by cancer or other illnesses. As Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche, who was also an advisor to the studies, mentions, these are “a wonderful support for all spiritual practitioners, not just for those with an interest in physical yogas,” or those with illnesses. By harmonizing the winds (lung, prana, or chi) and guiding their flow through physical and energetic dimensions, Tsalung Trulkhor can clear long-held blocks in your body, energy, and mind, supporting your healing as well as the spontaneous arising of awareness during formal meditation and in your everyday life.

Beginners and experienced students alike are invited to this Tibetan Yoga retreat. Join us for this special retreat in a special land of healing!
