Amanda Itzkoff, MD

Amanda Itzkoff, MD is an assistant professor of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai hospital, and a pioneer in the use of ketamine and psychedelic-assisted therapies. She has been treating patients with ketamine for psychiatric illness in her private practice since 2014, and was one of the first psychiatrists in the U.S. to offer ketamine treatment outside of the research setting. Dr. Itzkoff has extensive training in psychedelic assisted psychotherapeutic approaches through MAPS, Polaris, PRATI, and KTC, and is the CEO of an insurance-based interventional psychiatry practice, dedicated to making psychedelic-assisted treatments accessible to those who need them most.
