Jessica Caplan

Jessica is a vocalist, sound practitioner, and vocal embodiment coach who works with voice and sound as portals for embodiment, transformation, and healing. Known for her voice-infused ethereal soundscapes, and open-hearted approach to embodying the voice (Sonic Embodiment), Jessica leads immersive workshops, retreats, trainings, and 1:1 Mentorships in the art of therapeutic voice and sound. Jessica has been singing her whole life, but it was in her 30's that a series of activations took her on a journey back to her authentic voice. A graduate of the Open Center’s Sound and Music Institute, and Grammy award-nominated artist Silvia Nakkach’s Yoga of the Voice certificate, she is passionate about helping people reclaim the voice they were born with. She's a longtime yoga teacher, student of classical Hindustani music, and draws inspiration from the Earth, indigenous traditions, and her own Jewish roots. She lives in the Hudson Valley with her husband and daughter, and is currently working on an album of her medicine songs. Her song “Call Me Home” is available on all listening platforms under her alias Jessonica.
