Lee M. Harrington

Lee M. Harrington (Sangye Rinchen Lhamo) is an ordained ngakma in the Yuthok Nyingthik – a unique spiritual tradition of Tibetan Buddhism connected with Sowa Rigpa and Medicine Buddha. She is a long-term practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism and student of Sowa Rigpa. She has served on the faculty at Tibet House, Sivananda Bahamas, the Omega Institute and more–offering courses on meditation, mantra, nejang, and Tibetan self-healing practices–and she is delighted to offer retreats at beautiful Menla. Lee is also a vocalist, author, yogi and teacher who believes that we all have the capacity to heal ourselves and others. As a healer, she specializes in modalities from the energy-healing branch of Tibetan medicine. As a recording artist, she sings healing mantras from the Tibetan Buddhist and Sowa Rigpa traditions. She has also taught creative writing at New York University and Columbia University and is the author of the memoir REX AND THE CITY.
