Join us for a joyful weekend of yoga, inspiring meditations, and dharma talks with Bob, Michele, and John as we explore the uplifting and transformative practices of Vajrayoga™.

Vajrayoga™ is Tibet House US’s school of yoga and Indian inner science, integrating the physical and meditative disciplines common to both Hatha and Indo-Tibetan, Hindu, and Buddhist traditions. Our programs are designed to cheer the mind—from stress to bliss—and to open the body to joyous health, vitality, and the abundance of inner freedom.

This retreat sets yogic practices within the context of Indo-Tibetan spirituality and the evolutionary principles of enlightenment. Through this lens, Vajrayoga deepens our understanding of the scientific and ethical basis of being skillful, compassionate, wise, and truly happy.

Each morning will include meditation, pranayama, and Tibetan healing yoga, followed by dharma teachings and meditations with Robert Thurman and John Campbell. In the afternoons, Michele will guide alignment-based Hatha Yoga practices to open the physical and subtle-body nervous systems. Each evening will conclude with a deeply restful sleep meditation/yoga nidra for healing and integration.

All levels are welcome, and poses can be modified to support those with injuries or physical limitations.
Bob and John will teach comparative Buddhist and classical Indian inner science, drawing from Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, and the sutras and tantras of the Buddha, Nāgārjuna, and others.

This special summer weekend is meant to highlight the joy and depth of the Vajrayoga approach. While some participants may be preparing for the upcoming Vajra Yoga Teacher Training, the main focus will be on beneficial yoga, meditation, and dharma practice for all who wish to explore these living traditions. Weather permitting, we will also hold a participatory Vajrayana/Vedic fire offering ceremony—or its indoor equivalent—for collective blessing and intention.

For those interested in going deeper, this immersion also serves as an excellent introduction to the Vajra Yoga 300-hour Yoga Alliance–certified Teacher Training course, launching in November 2025.

All levels of experience are welcome. This is a rare opportunity to study with three exceptional teachers in a beautiful setting, and to deepen your practice within a supportive, wisdom-centered community.

A Living Wisdom Tradition

The style of these teachings differs from a traditional academic approach. What is offered is not simply information, but an invitation into a living lineage of inner transformation. At the heart of the Vajrayoga experience is the presence of the teachers—and the presence of you, the student. Your capacity to absorb, question, reflect, and relate is your greatest asset in this evolving and sometimes unpredictable learning journey.
