We welcome you to join us in a private celebration and nurturing exploration of the Divine Mother: in each of us individually, in our home Mother Earth, and within universal God Consciousness in this very special Mothers’ Day weekend KAP retreat.

A term from Hindu religion and philosophy, Devi means goddess. It is one of the many words used to evoke the divine since ancient times. Devi is the archetype of the Mother — a primordial symbol in all cultures and a signifier of the feminine aspect of divinity and God or consciousness. The Divine Mother archetype captures the qualities of selfless nurturing, caring and compassion.

We are honored to be graced by the presence and guest facilitation of Nena Thurman, who created Tibet House US and Menla with her husband Tenzin Bob Thurman, in her debut retreat facilitation. This is truly a special gift to those who attend.

Our retreat will weave together simple universal Buddhist teachings by Nena, a meditation gift and riveting talk by Bob, teachings by Monica, and multiple ketamine-facilitated inner work sessions facilitated by Gita, along with nature walks, forest bathing, a breathtaking sound bath, and world-class spa therapies (must book separately and in advance).

Together we will plumb the depths of our psyches and travel the far reaches of the cosmos to more deeply understand the feminine side of reality with the aid of visualization, inspiring meditations and talks, and ketamine-assisted journeys.

Menla’s unique geo-magnetic and unusual gravitational matrix provide an extraordinary setting for this kind of inner exploration. Menla’s energy is a powerful example of the gentle but firm force of the feminine. Surrounded by mountains, Menla’s womb-like land provides a deep sense of safety, inspiration, and magic, helping to catalyze profound revelations and insights.

We invite you to join us for this special celebration and visionary encounter with the divine feminine within and around ourselves!

If you would like to attend with a spouse, partner or family member and stay in the same room, please register first as an individual and then email Michael Burbank at mburbank@menla.org with your +1’s full name and whether they have any dietary allergies, and we will email you back a custom registration link to add your +1.
