Embracing the Sacred Feminine
with Isa Gucciardi & Robert Thurman
Isa Gucciardi, author of Return to the Great Mother, joins Robert Thurman in exploring the deep and vast dimensions of the Great Mother who is emerging in her various forms is this time of planetary crisis, as she has done from time immemorial.
As we step into the spring at the time of the March equinox, we will explore the initiations of the Sacred Feminine that are presented to a woman as she steps into the physical female form. We will learn how a woman’s biology can actually drive her spiritual awakening and set her on a path of ever deepening initiation into the mysteries of the creative engagement with the universe.
This is an experiential retreat that will focus on working with meditation to help students develop a deeper relationship and understanding of the powers of the Great Mother. Students will have plenty of time to discover a more intimate relationship with the Earth in the unique physical environment of Menla that is situated in the center of an ancient meteor impact crater.
Through this retreat women will develop resources from long developed, time-tested positive sciences and arts that help us celebrate of the blessings of reality of the Great Mother’s loving embrace, and live meaningfully in the midst of the ups and downs of our daily lives ever more realistically and happily.
Selected short readings will be made available online for those pre-registered and wishing optionally to prepare for the retreat.
