The (Winter) Reset: A Yoga + Yoga Nidra Retreat

Retreat to the beautiful Catskills for a long weekend of practice, connection and reflection with Taryn Burns. Known for her accessible and progressive programming, practices are thoughtfully designed to pacify kapha, offsetting the heaviness and darkness of winter by inviting more space and circulation to your practice.
In addition to experiencing this physical, mental and energetic reset while on retreat – students will be given the tools to sustain these practices when they return home.
Morning meditation / myofascial release: release physical tension through efficient myofascial release practices.
Alignment / Technique Labs: deepen your understanding of the function of a posture or technique and to personalize your practice with props / variations to meet your unique alignment and experience level.
Rest Hour: enjoy a beautiful winter hike on one of the on-property trails, experience state of the art spa treatments or simply rest.
Practice: apply what you’ve learned in the lab to move through your practice more efficiently and effectively.
Yoga Nidra: create a sankalpa (intention) and identify the best set-up for this deeply restorative guided meditation practice.
Return to your day-to-day life feeling reset and with a practice plan in place to sustain you through the remaining winter months.

Saturday, February 14
- 7 – 7:45 am Early Morning : Myofascial Release + Meditation
- 8 – 9 am Breakfast
- 9:30 am – 12 pm Morning Program : Alignment / Technique Lab
- 12:30 – 1:30 pm Lunch
- 2 – 4 pm Rest hour (spa, hike, nap, etc)
- 4 – 5:30 pm Afternoon Practice (Asana, Pranayama, Yoga Nidra)
- 6- 7 pm Dinner
- 7:30 – 8:30 pm Evening Program
Sunday, February 15
